So, who is this guy?

Fred McHale is a web application developer, program manager and instructor in San Francisco, California. He began his career doing freelance web development and design in the mid 1990s before attending California State University Bakersfield. Graduating in 2007 with a BS in Computer Science he decided to focus his energy in the area of web technology. Besides Fred's current client, Cisco, he has worked with Silicon Valley Startups and is an instructor at the Academy of Art Institute Graduate School of Web Design and New Media. In these roles he develops web and mobile applications with a social media core and instructs masters students in web development and design. He enjoys speaking at industry events and devotes his time to education and contributing to the open source community.
